Steve Berry is a New York Times and #1 internationally bestselling author of twenty-eight novels. His books have been translated into 41 languages with over 25 million copies in print in 52 countries. In addition to being a prolific and successful thriller writer, Berry was a trial lawyer for 30 years and held elected office for over a decade.

History lies at the heart of every Steve Berry novel. His foundation, History Matters, is dedicated to historic preservation and conservation, and was recognized by the American Library Association, which named Berry its spokesperson for National Preservation Week. Among his other honors are the Royden B.
