Robert M. Edsel is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Monuments Men. Mr. Edsel is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Monuments Men Foundation for the Preservation of Art, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entity that received the National Humanities Medal, the highest honor awarded in the United States for work in the humanities field. He is a former Trustee at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans. Mr. Edsel lives in Dallas.
